Good to hear that everyone thinks my suggestion of Tip & Tricks was a good idea. But good ideas stay just that unless somebody grabs the bull by the horns and moves it on. Therefore, can I suggest for those that are interested, submit a list of what applications they are using, so that we could establish what is the most popular for a start and build up a list of "How To's" from there. I know that time is precious to most of us, but there must be a mountain of nformation out there!

I am sure that we started a tips and tricks section in the MM days. I remember posting tips re double tracking and using the mute guitar to enhance bass.

The tips and tricks is a good idea and your right Frank i think we had that on MM, i would be more interested in the musical beginnings and they way we all started out hope the admins are listening

Musical beginnings. Learned to play the guitar in OZ thru the melody school of music.1st guitar was an Ibanez WITH A YAMMY BAR.Golden Tone 15 Watt amp. After mastering how to change from C to F was well on my way. Moved to the UK to follow the hippie trail.Got job as a roadie and took up digs in West Hampstead.Often went to the Marquee and Roundhouse. Busked my way from Calais to Andorra and across to Amsterdam. Got married in Holland and moved to NZ.Worked in several bands and have now moved to Oz. Am now in semi - retirement mode.
