I'm was inclined to refrain from entering the fray with regard to stars because, I fear, it will lead me to having a severe case of "star" envy. Mine are neither big enough, the right colour nor do they inspire awe and admiration from the masses:( Warren - just going off to sit in a corner by himself......... Well here I am, waiting in this little dark corner, hoping some stars will shine up there because I am lost? But, if we all threw our stars in the air, we might then spread a little bit of light over some of life's doom and gloom, and help to make the future brighter for one another. Jacqui |

Hey, I just thought of something..... Emerald MIDI's stars should be emerald green! LOL Pat, it's still a mystery to us. All you said was you guys set up a system. You didn't explain it to us..... Inquiring minds wanna know! (You might have to be American to grin at that last one) Hey, Jacqui, I'll trade ya a green for one of yer pretty purples! No... never mind, I got LOADS of 'em in every color I want! <grin>  BTW, I may have gotten big, fat stars for editing files for MIDIMart members.... the paid members as well. If that is the case, I want them gone. Naturally, I'll edit files for members here, but I sure don't want stars for helping Glenn make a friggin' buck by advertising the fact that he had an editor! IMO John G has contributed MUCH more than I have, and if anyone should have that contribution showing, it should be him. |

Don't sell yourself short JazzCat, I'm sure that many of our forum members will be able to put forward an argument for you to be acknowledged for your efforts in helping us all out at some time or other. I also concur with your comments pertaining to JG - he's a deadset legend!!!! Very helpful, informative (with an altogether unhealthy, encyclopedic mind when it comes to Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy !!!!!lol). THANKS to you and the numerous others that will continue to make the forum friendly, helpful and ever-growing ] regards Warren |

I think you deserve every Star you have, never mind all the history who cares, help was help what ever way you see it, and you & John have helped us all tons, I think you both deserve Medals for what you do not just Stars. I agree help was and is offered by cat and john not only when it is asked for but sometimes i think when they felt we needed it.
That said i would like to know why you are all sitting in my corners, i tried to get into mine and was blocked!!!! for a second i thought i was back in MM lol i`m blocked there too lol lol The corners are by invite only although Jacqui and Cat are welcome in anytime lol lol
weegeo-----------now selling seats in the corner and tubbs is selling the ice cream lol

You got your stars for your contribution and help to the forum Cat....nothing to do with Glenn, if however you wish them removed i am sure if you feel strongly about it then this can be done....i would say don't sell yourself short gal!! There are some amazing people on this forum and you are all valued equally regardless of star ratings....Admin and Staff included. However, while it may not be visible, believe me when i say you wouldn't believe the work that goes on behind the scenes. |

Hey Weegeo,i know i haven't had an official invite to your corner but do you reckon their's a small chance Ole Simmo could have a couple of double cones with a choc stick on top plus if possible a bit of that sprinkly stuff on as well ???cos Tubbs is a mate of sorts !!!,Simmo, dribbling just thinking about them   ;D

Well thanks to all of you, for the kudos. Guess if you think I deserve 'em then that's what counts. I still wanna see John with a load of fancy schmancy stars! LOL  And.... we still don't know what they mean, what each star represents and what the color means. That was the original question that started all the banter. Why for n' how come no one's been forthcoming with the specifics? Is it a closely guarded secret only for Admin? Just wondering.
