Sorry I lost my wiring diagrame for this.It consited of a capacitor and resistors wired to input and output jacks. Maybe John G knows the values. Might be better to buy one than muck about with a soldering bolt. Frank

Thats for sure Frank,i'd be positively dangerous with a soldering iron in my hand, did you notice that we have had a pretty severe bushfire over the last couple of days in our part of the country,it seems to be settling down now, thats until the sea breeze comes in later today,it is pretty close to us in fact we had lock down to keep the smoke out of the house, everything outside has a nice coating of ash from the fire but at this stage no homes have been lost..Simmo

Warren i wish I could find the ones I made or the wiring diagrame ,they only cost me a few dollars and no battery required.

Hi Tom just had a look at the bit of gear you recommended it looks good mate.the thing is i am using my condenser mic to put the vocals on at the moment going through the sonic cell but as i mentioned the acoustic guitar didn't come out so well using this method,i checked out the box you are using for the guitar on the internet & as you say it works for you..how do you think it will perform putting my ovation acoustic/electric guitar through it ?? if it will be ok i will certainly go for it,let me know what you reckon,i really appreciate your help on this one,my other question is,has this bit of gear been around for a while or have they improved it with another updated model as they do,..thanks again Tom...Simmo...wondering how to get some good fish & chips over to you from Aussie ;D

Hi Terry, That bushfire is alarmingly close mate by the sound of it!! Hope it damps down soon and not a prob. Just a thought or two about recording your Ovation guitar (electro-acoustic) ... your posted recording was thro' your condenser mic with the mic connected to your Sonic Cell and Sonic is your interface to your DAW (Sonar) and you were recording vocal and guitar 'live' into the mic right? I've used the Sonic Cell & recorded OK as a 'live' take similarly and it works alright but you could record vocal thro' condenser mic in one take and do seperate recording of the guitar direct thro' the Sonic Cell and either add effects to the guitar track via your DAW or record a processed/effected guitar track using the onboard effects/patches within the Sonic Cell. Either way, the Sonic Cell is possibly all you need to get pretty good results ... give it a go and see if it works for you. Best regards ... Graham:)
