Hi all,Ole Simmo needs a bit of info on the Sonic Cell updates,i have just had both Sonar le & Sonic cell reinstalled on my computer & with advice given was told it was a good time to download the latest updates from the net on s/cell,this update should increase the number of songs that can be displayed & used in the module on the usb stick from 99 to 399 songs,the fella that done the installation did this for me but i see that the total of songs is still 99,all of the updates that were shown for windows xp professional (which i am using) wer downloaded and the one for the s/cell module was inserted in the module which came up with a message saying,'completed', any advice welcome,Simmo

Hi Terry.. .....do you know what updates he installed as there are a few different ones.....you need the SC System Update ver1.20 which he probably installed you couLd check and see what ver you have now ......I forget how to do it now but if you go into your menu and search for Version I think it could be in Utility you'll see what ver you have it should now be the latest ver 1.20.....sounds like you need the latest SC Playlist Editor version 1.10 for XP this is what increases your playlist to 399 songs ......sending you on the link to download it if need be . just go to downloads and its the one near the bottom for XP www.rolandus.com/products/productdetails.php?ProductId=897# let me know how you go ok....Regards Barry

Hi Barry you must be working the night shift,i downloaded the correct file as suggested i put it on my usb stick & then plugged it in the s/cell usb but it came up with a message saying empty even though it is on the usb stick,do i have to do anything on s/cell to make it accept it,many thanks for help,Terry

Hi Terry.. ..just finished a gig last night thats why I was up so late...... ;D You say he downloaded the update file that goes on to your stick and into your SC .......so if thats alreday installed as I say you should now have ver1.20. thats important as the older ver won't allow more than 99 songs if I'm correct...you mentioned "completed" came on the screen looks like its already installed so.... Now you need to install the Playlist Editor update you downloaded thats ver 1.10 ok........that goes on the pc as an update to the one thats already installed(hopefully it is it was on the original cd that came with SC) so now with your newly downloaded update you just open the setup exe file install and reboot and it should now facilitate the 399 songs ...hope this works for you now sorry about the confusion earlier ok .....let me know how you get on ok Terry...Cheerz for now ..........regards Barry
