Just to let you know because I know our Weeo[eddie] is too modest to mention it, but he is currently doing a tour of venues in and around Aberdeen with a Sixties show which is selling out as soon as the tickets are available. I had the pleasure of seeing the show last Friday and it is excellent.Eddie and his good friend George are the main artists that hold it all together and the production showcases all the top singers from Aberdeen from the Sixties. All in all it was a terrific night Good on you Eddie Bigmike ;D

Thanks Mike for your encouraging words.I'm glad you enjoyed the show,as it really is in it's infancy. It started off as a charity event last year, and we were so surprised how quickly the ticket's sold that we decided to "put it in the road".Bookings are not a problem, the main problem we are having is moving equipment. Because George and I have been resident for the last 5 years,we don't have a van .We decided we would hire the PA and lights,so we only had to move guitars and other small items.Unfortunately we can't get a PA that we're happy with.Ideally we would like to use our own gear,so we're on the look out for a van owner to pick up the gear from our residency and deliver to the venue and reverse the process the next day.So far we can't find anyone suitable. We also like to include a "comedy section" so if any one of you guys have ideas along that lines i'd be happy to hear from you. Bear in mind that i'm the baby of the show at 60yrs,and the oldest is 78,so nothing too physical. Any other ideas for the show would be greatly appreciated. Regards Eddie

Eddie , I picked up a lot of roadie work thru the Melody Maker or New Musical Express. Not sure if these are still around. Also an add on the notice board of the local musical equipment shop could help. Best to stick to your own gear as you know how it sounds and limitations.
