Hi I'm hoping someone may know the answer to this
I want to put lyrics into all my songs on iTunes but they are all backing tracks so I'm finding that there are lots of programmes that search through your library and add tag information and the lyrics but they only seem to work with the original songs not backing tracks, All my tracks are backing tracks, and a lot are mp3's made via midi files so don't contact any tagging information, also some of them have different arrangements to lyrics you find online.
I know you can go into every track and add lyrics manually but this will take forever, I already have all the lyrics on my PC in folders as word documents, someone told me that there is a way to add documents into iTunes, and then search all the tracks to add the lyrics to the mp3 from those documents/lyrics files, as long as they have the same names as the mp3 which mine do, but can't find a way to do that?
I'm sure most of you have had books of lyrics over the years and and have them on your pc in lyric folders
can anyone offer any advise
Thanks Jacqui

Hi Jacqui, Here's what i do. I use an App called ONSONG, costs around £20. It's designed to work with Itunes. All the lyrics you have already need to be put into DROPBOX (free download). When you open Onsong, you simply click the plus sign to add the song lyric and then marry it up with the backing track.
It sounds a bit long winded and complicated and initially it is a bit. But when you've done it a couple of times it's easy enough.
I can do a step by step guide for you if you're interested.
There are other ways i'm sure, but that's the way i do it.
Hope this helps and if you need any further info, let me know.
Regards Eddie
