change email address

hi I'm having problem changing my email address I went to edit but nothing changed I've now got my new email in my status and old email still their can you help thanks maverick(Jim)

Hi Jim

Click on your Username/Edit profile /Personal/ change your email address and don't forget to Save Changes You'll be sent an Activation code to your new email just copy and paste into your login and you should be good to go ..Any probs let me know

hi Barry done as you said message says new email is already in use it still goes back to [e-mail] the one I had a few years ago hope you can help me change it to my current email address

Strange I just done it there myself and it works fine . Are you sure you saved it and def put in the new e mail address ? See the attatchment I sent here it should look like this hit save and you should get your new validation code sent to you

Hi Barry done as you suggested its saying ([e-mail]) is already in use but email stays ([e-mail])i had the 2 emails at one time a while ago can I delete a/c then sign up again with my current email would I lose all my input etc. from original a/c also enter my current email thanks again for all help you've given maverick(Jim)

I don't really know any other way of doing this as it worked fine for me doing it this way. Don't want you losing all your posts if you open a new account. Leave it with me for a bit ok .
