Posting this for Terry Couldn’t resist taking a pic of our local birdlife from the park next to us,it is a mixture of Pink & grey , and white cockatoo’s having a feed after some torrential rain over the past few days. I wonder if you would be good enough to post it on the forum for me, just a little different from life over your way. Many thanks .Terry

Hi members, a big thank you to Barry for posting this pic, it's fairly common to see these large flocks of cockatoo's (pink & grey plus the normal white cockatoo )unfortunately they do a lot of damage to our farming community by destroying large area's of crops etc, many years ago we had one in a large pen I built as a pet owing to having a damaged wing & it picked up our conversations very quickly, our best mimic was when he used to call out Patricia's name & she would be forever coming out in the garden looking for me, the cocky had my voice off to a tee. Occasionally it would shout out a few swear words as well ( which our boys had taught him) which meant we had to cover him up in the event of visitor's visiting us. On our last visit to the UK I saw some in a pet shop & the price was really expensive .Best wishes to all Simmo
