Just got an e-mail fom the simmos in phuket. They still can't get connected to the forum so they asked me to post the gist of the e-mail to yer all:
"Hi ,how are our special friends going,just a quickie from hot & sultry Thailand,all went well for the rest of our stay in England,had a week in Ireland with the ole red car which performed well through all those hilly roads etc,spent our last days in Cheltenham,had a lovely day with Geoff (Allegro) & family,sold the car for 250 pounds to a friend of Geoffs,got 150 pounds reinbursed on my Tesco insurance so all in all we done pretty well,total cost for 3 months running around the UK 120 pounds + fuel costs,Hey the Simmo"s have got to have a win sometimes.Patricia is well & enjoying all the delights that phuket offers,relaxing ,shopping etc,we certainly have fond memories of our time we spent with you in Chatteris we are always talking about you all,cant wait to get back into the music seriously on our return to Aussie,best wishes to you all will be in touch soon,we arrive home on the 27th of this month,Lots of love to you all,Terry & Patricia x x x,PS am having trouble getting on to the site from here but will keep trying (it keeps going to the old site)give the simmo"s regards to all the folks on Midihangout & give them the latest update from us,many thanks"

,i will have a lot of catching up to do on the forum things like trying to remember how to operate Sonic Cell again etc,a big hi to Tommy thanks for email i got via Rainbow,i will get in touch as soon as possible,the internet here has a tendacy to shut down pretty frequently,anyway best wishes to all from Patricia & myself we are just out to have yet another Thai meal,The Simmo's
but all good fun,they even had an elephant that played the harmonica ,amazing stuff,but hey anything goes out here.Very cheap living here,food etc providing you go for the Thai dishes which we really love,the odd Singha or Tiger or Chang beer goes down a treat as well,I will certainly have a lot of catching up on on the site when we get home,new members, lots of new midis plus all the gossip.i'm really looking forward to it.must fly i think a dip in the pool is calling,best wishes to all,keep the post coming,The Simmo's
