You have to convert them to mp3 first, Tommy.

Tommy If you wanna stick with midis you could try downloading a midi player its def an Apple Ipad you have right? anyway be sure its compatable with your tablet before you get it as you prob won't get a refund. For what its worth if your gigging I think you'd be better off customising your midis first then as weeo suggested convert them to mp3 much more reliable . Midis can be very finicky at times and the last thing you need is all your midis going pear shaped in a live situation such as trumpets playing instead of bass and bells playing instead of guitars been there done that as well as that depending on the midi player you get the Ipad sounds might sound totally different than your own sound at home. But if its just for home use and tinkering around at home a midi player might work ok for you. Just my input anyway. Regards Barry

I would agree with that, do the work at home & convert to mp3. If it's a iPad that you've got, I would recommend an app called BackTrax from the app store. It costs just a few pounds, & it's easy to work with. You can even add lyrics, (scrolling), useful when the words of that song that you've done for the last 30 years decide to exit your brain, lol
