Thanx John tht all seems pretty clear now and 3 diff ways to do it s well thats great 
...there's just one more thing on fades thats fade ins is there way to restore a fade in at the beginning of a song reversing the fade in other words? An example I can think of is "Turn To Stone" By ELO sorry dont have the midi on this pc it seldom occurs but I have come across others occasionally so while we're on the subject it might be useful to learn how its done if at all possible ....thanx again for everything ....regards
