G'day to all hangout members, hoping all is well with you all, things for me recently have been very quiet in the music scene over in my part of the world, probably due to in my case a lot of new entertainers getting around the area's where I do most of my gigging, aged care homes, retirement villages etc. I must admit our garden has never looked better with our fruit trees and vines ( orange's, mandarins, lemons, black & red grapes & various tropical fruits giving us a bumper crop, plus all of the jobs around the home that have been put into the to hard basket seem to be getting done, much to the delight of my good lady. It also is an opportunity for me to brush up on my song list as well as learn a few new tracks. I do have 3 gigs next week plus it will be busy around the Christmas break.
Our weather has been very unseasonal lately with some very heavy thunderstorms & wild weather which is unusual for our springtime, temps very cool as well but it is looking up for later this week with a few day's around 36c which is normal for this time of the year. We will then have our summer to look forward to, the hottest months being Dec..Jan..Feb. We will be on water restrictions this coming summer even though we have had some good rains the dam's are still low, but with putting plenty of mulch around all of our tree's & plants we can keep things going ok.
Patricia & I still talk about our last trip to the UK and the good time we had while we were there,so it is possible that we may even make just one more visit before we get to old to appreciate it, we had a wonderful time on our last visit plus the weather was kind to us as well. We both still have family over there, in fact last year we had a visit from Patricia's two nieces whom we made most welcome, they hailed from Arundel in Sussex, we certainly made sure that they had a good time during there stay with us, although they did under estimate the affects of our sun, making them two very sore lass's.
That's my rambling done now for a little practice session.
Very best wishes to all member's.
