So sad to hear one of the true greats has passed ..funny I was just learning a few of his songs this week. What great songs himself and Jimmy Webb produced over the years my personal favourites being Galveston..Witchta Lineman and By the Time I get to Phoenix but all his songs were true MAGIC !! . He was also a true gentleman no bull a pure simple country boy who never forgot his roots and that voice was pure Gold .
