Hi all, just to let you know that Patricia & I have just returned from a mini break, we decided that as I had a gig free week it would be great to get away from all of the mundane chores & have a nice relaxing bit of time away together. We have just returned from a really nice spot about 3 hours south drive away from us, it is called the "Mandalay Caravan Park" (give it a google ) which is a three hour drive from where we live in Baldivis, it took a couple of days to settle in but it was all very relaxing plus even though we are officially into winter it stayed fine & sunny most of the time with temps a little cool 24c most days.
The chalets were spot on with all of the trimmings & it was not busy either. It certainly was a nice break, even so I could not resist taking my old Ovation acoustic down with me, plus a few new backing tracks to work on as well. Just thought I would share this with the members, the trouble is it has given us both the itch to do this more often.
