Being a Man Utd supporter I thought I'd start this thread. It's coming down to the final 8-9 games of the season and has it been any tighter? Liverpool have been playing great for the past couple of weeks and are picking up points while United drop them. Their 4-1 win over us has ignited the league again into an exciting finale, Is Chelsea still in the hunt? I most certainly would not rule them out. Who does everyone support? and whats your thoughts on what could become the most fought for Premier league title in the history of the competition.

I don't follow Soccer as such but I do like watching the game occasionally, especially European and World Cup championships - my wife, however, is an ardent Liverpool fan and is naturally delighted with their efforts of late

Leeds is a classic example of a big team that should never of went down. But I think things are looking a bit more positive now for you lot.

Even tho' i'm a Scotsman ,my team is also Man Utd. My Wife is related to Alex Dawson who played for them in the Sixties. Denis Law came from Aberdeen and Alex Ferguson managed Aberdeen , so I think I can loosely justify my allegiance to them having supported them for over forty years. I am however ,secondly, a football purist and I fully admire the way that Liverpool are playing recently,That is the kind of football that will draw crowds back to the stadiums so I hope all these staid football managers chuck their F.A. coaching manuals out the window and follow both the Liverpool and Man Utd method of attacking and exciting , high energy football Phew !!! must go for a lie down now Regards Bigmike

You are totally right Bigmike. The templates on winning have always been there. I cannot understand why clubs couldn't just follow suit. Look at the most dominant teams from the past 30 years from the English League, you'd have to say United, Liverpool and Arsenal. (Sorry Chelsea fans) They have always had a very good mix of youth and experience, which is pivotal to success which leads to winning major honours.

What a weekend for late goals lads. I'm still buzzing from the character that we showed yesterday in the last 10 minutes of the Villa game. I thought that it was game set and match after they went 2-1 up. Credit to the 17 year old Macheda for the winner. This season is going to go to the wire.

It'll be a tight run in alright Kieran....though it breaks my heart to say it, ;D, fair do's to Man U for battling away to get the result they did...and in particular young Macheda.

Well Lads, what a fantastic performance by United Last night. I think the saying goes Men against Boys. When watching last night I couldn't help drawing the comparisons to that night in 2006 when AC Milan taught our youngsters a lesson at the San Siro. I remember watching Ronaldo and Rooney getting knowhere with the Milan defence. We learned a vital lesson that night, as Arsenal will from Lst nights game. I know you cannot legislate for errors but they do happen in games thats why you have a team spirit that spurs the rest on. I couldn't beleive the Gooners fans walking out on their team in their thousands after only 70 minutes, credit to the fans who stayed. Anyway we are on our way to Rome, it's over to the Chelsea tonight, I'm sure "Feeway" Like me yesterday the butterflies are setting in.
