Hi members, just wondering what your weather outlook is for the Xmas period, I realise we do have members scattered right across the globe so I am sure that there will be vast differences in the climate etc, down in our part of the world it was looking as though its going to be fairly warm & sunny with temps around 32c but thankfully not as hot as today when we reached a max of 42.4c or in the old terms around 106 farenheit,
It is full on keeping our garden going even though we are under water restrictions, only allowed to have our reticulation on two times a week. we are able to hand water with the hose which is really essential for us having just got the veggie garden going with all of the summer stuff in.It's only a small backyard compared with our last place where we had a half acre but we are still getting good results with most things .We have got most of the citrus trees including ,oranges ,lemons, grapefruits ( 2 species ),mandarins, loganberry, blueberry, also the grapevines are loaded this year, just put in a pecan nut tree plus our middle son who is in the trade has got us a mango tree which we are picking up when we go up to stay with the family a couple of days over the Xmas. He has a few acres up in the hills out of Perth so it should be a nice quiet break for us.
Gigged today at a local aged care home & it all went well, plenty of Xmas songs which took up a fair bit of the hour gig, now for a little break.
Once again wishing all members & staff a very merry Xmas & a safe new year.
