Hi John! The audio input on the card takes Line & mic is there a something needed in the line of a patch to use both. I remember sometime ago when I got the card there was something that allowed to switch from Mic to line or vise vera.................Any thoughts.............Gerry

Hi,
Cor! That's from way back. Scratches head and puts thinking cap on.
The easy way is, using XGworks, to open the SW1000 mixer from the 'plug-in' menu.
Then 'F5' to open the menu, and select at the top the requirements for the possible two channels.
Then in the bottom box select the effect(s) needed.
Then Okay.
Finally select the track you want it recorded to 'F7'.
Now when you record, F8 it should send the commands to the track you've chosen.
Otherwise it's a whole sequence of SysEx massages.
