A big Hi from the Simmo camp, it all is looking good for our trip to the UK today we booked our flight, we leave Perth on the 27th May 2016, arrive Heathrow 28th,flying Cathay Pacific it is there normal flight which takes about 21 hours we have an hour stop in Hongkong to change planes then straight through to Heathrow, all things going well we have 11 weeks over there leaving on 13th August which should give us ample time to do everything we would like to do plus catch up with remaining family ( myself one sister in Sussex & Patricia has some family in the west country ). We are hoping to have a good look around the country which is something that we never did during the time we lived there. Our early married life there what with having two very young boys & working two jobs just to pay all the bills didn't allow us to see much of the old country ( hey they were the good old days ).We will have to take your weather as it comes but as Frankie stated we may be there for summer . I will let the forum know of our movements when the time comes as it would be great to catch up with as many of my mates on the forum as possible, even just to say Hi & have a cuppa, ( we are very low maintenance ). email address tsimpson02@bigpond.com if you need to contact us any time, we will get ourselves a mobile phone over there to keep in touch with everyone. best wishes to all The Simmo's

I had trip in UK too. We were afraid of prices for fuel and how much we could spend there. But petrolcalc.co.uk helped us out. We just knew how to save money and drive more effective. Very useful if you have low budget.

We have had the UK Summer already Frank. Last Wednesday it hit the dizzy height of 21 degrees in the south east. All we have is the Autumn mists to look forward to now, then bring on the one night of frost, and the half a centimetre of snow.
Year over weather wise.
