Car battery chargers, any car experts?

Can any one help with an argument we are having at home, got two battery chargers bradex bx120 and bradex sigma6,
first one shows on display window 0-12 the other one shows charge rate 0-8

my partner had a flat battery today 12 v 60 ah, when you put the car on either charger the arrow shows 0, and does not move after charging for a while, have not got user manual for either of the chargers and can't find them online anywhere.

does the 0 mean empty or full, and should you set the charge to 6v or 12 v to charge on the switch?

It should be on 12v with the red lead on + and black on -. bradex bx120 is a fast charger.Make sure you have taken the caps off to allow the gases to escape and top up with distilled water.Or defrost some ice out of the freezer
