Prob nothing Tommy had it done myself last year pretty quick procceedure they'll give you something to take beforehand which will knock you out in no time when you wake it'll all be over .I get traces as well if I over indulge which is rare these days ....lol As far as the prep drink goes look at it as a good clean out we all need that every now and then.
Good luck anyway

Hi Tommy, I had the same as you 4 years ago. Remember the point of the screening is to catch anything early . If caught early , the stats are pretty high for complete recovery. Here's my story, hope it helps reassure you. After the colonoscopy I got the news they found cancer in the bowel. But they found it early , got the bad bit out ,followed by 3 months of chemo. Yes it was hard going at times, but got the all clear a couple of weeks ago, so it was all worth it in the end. I'm giving you worst case scenario here and hopefully you'll be ok . The colonoscopy is painless, don't worry about it. The worst bit was it fills you with wind and the recovery ward was a bit noisy lol. Good luck my friend and hope all goes well. If there's anything you want to know or discuss or anything I can do ,please don't hesitate to contact me I'm only too glad to help.
Eddie
