In searching around for some of the older MIDI sites recently, it came to me that some of them have disappeared since the demise of geocities and have never been resurrected. But, of course, much of this older work has been archived by places such as web.archive.org so I thought I'd take a look for one or two of the old good ones I remembered. I started with Norma Barnes site which I haven't seen for quite a while and looked it up. Yup, there it was, and it appears that most, if not all, of the files she sequenced are still there and available for download, so I thought I'd share this link with you: web.archive.org/web/20011211184311/http://members.aol.com/_ht_a/ncwilliams/index.htmHope you like what you find there! Have fun, JohnG.

Hi John! The site opens for me but when I try to download it fails. An error message appears. I started off with Jack's Shack and Don Carroll about fifteen years ago.......Things have come a long way from the Soundblaster AWE 32 & 64 Gold, not forgetting the very unstable Turtle Beach Pinnacle...........(Thank God)...........Gerry.

Hi Gerry, I'm using FirFox and right clicking and selecting "save link as..." works fine for me. A left click gives me an error message too. Any help? JohnG. BTW. I started with a soundblaster too. That was after the Atari STe though. Then went on to a Pinnacle (I think) daughter board then a Yamaha DB50-XG daughter board. Lastly an SW1000-XG which really changed things! Now a whole stack of external modules and synths. The latest project is with SONAR, Cubase and the East West Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra VSTi. Amazing!
