Tommy I played golf yesterday, started off with the full kit, waterproofs, wooly hat. An hour later, playing in shirt sleeves. An hour later back to the waterproofs. Our crazy Scottish weather, lol

It's a bit like that in Cyprus at the moment Tommy and Eddie. Yesterday I was in the pool for the first time this year, today we've thunder storms forecast for the next three days. At least we know it's going to be a HOT Summer eventually.

Hi Tommy, Weeo, Roberb, just had a look at your latest local weather & it is looking pretty grim, well we are now officially into our winter for the next 3 months & both Patricia & I are already feeling the chill,a low of around 8c getting up around 22c, brrrr. Today is a public holiday in W Australia so most of the store's have limited opening hours but we managed to get along to our local fruit & veggie outlet who basicly opens 365 days a year,it is called the "Spud Shed". It is owned & operated by a Italian Family who have been here forever, he grows pretty well everything himself & gives all of the major chain stores quite a hard time ie, quality, price & service, a little while back the big chain stores lowered all of there prices on heaps of veggies fruit etc so good Old Mick Galati countered with a price war they could not beat, he gave all of he's potatoes away to the public for free for quite a long time, as many as you wanted. He got a big heap of publicity in the bargain as well. Missed a couple of weeks gigs owing to a virus that's going around, eldest son Neil filled in for me on a couple of jobs but I still had to cancel a few. Roll on spring & summer. Neil doesn't have a real job in fact several years ago he took a trip to the UK which ended up him being away for about 11 years, he lived just outside Birmingham ( Meriden ) & then started up a second hand shop dealing in secondhand Cd's,Dvd's & music memorabilia in The "Swan Centre" Birmingham, he is a walking encyclopedia when it comes to music / artists etc. Neil now has got himself married (at 50 years old )& now runs a site in Ebay called Spaghetti Junction which carries the same sort of stuff including books etc.He also goes around the age care homes like the "Ole man" playing Guitar / vocal, around Perth he is always in demand.
Well that's it for now...Simmo
