I had the pleasure of singing on the same bill as Dame Vera several years ago, she is a true lady.
A memory which I hold dear.

What sort of show did you do with Dame Vera? Did you realise she wont sing any more now, when I asked her why, she replied she cant do the songs justice anymore.

I have actually performed twice with Dame Vera, once for a VE day celebtration concert, and the first time was on a West End theatre show, many tears ago, in fact I was 17 at the time.  |

I have also met this wonderful lady quite a long time ago my brother in law was in the RAF and she was doing some sort of presentation but i`m afraid the moment was lost on me then i think i have the pic somewhere think i was about 10 now that was a long time ago lol
