I recently purchased the ULTIMATE AX-48S for my PSR s-900. After going through a number of different keyboard stands I have to say that this has to be the best designed for the on the road musician. It retails at 135Euro from Thomann and I have to say it was worth every penny of it. What I really like about this stand is not only the strong build but the way that it is so easy to take down and away for transit after use. the four holding bars easily detach and fit into a little compartment on the top of the stand, while the legs click out and slide into their slot bottom slot. It includes a handle for easy carriage. The bars are very easily adjusted to the position that you wish to play. Ideal for the sit down or stand up performer. www.thomann.de/gb/ultimate_ax48s.htm

Hi there kemo, i have been using the apex stand for about ten years now, and i have to say it's great. However after a time the foam on the tri bars wears away. Now as new tri bars are about £20. each, when the foam needs replacing go to your nearest d.i.y. store and buy heavy duty draught excluder, does the job great and so cheap to buy.

The problem that I have is basicly when I have my top and bottom keyboards on the stand it is very hard to see the display on the bottom one, as you can only bring it forward soo much. If you know of an alternative way please let me know. Regards Kieran

I'd also like to point out to all the PSR S900 users that if using this keyboard on the lower set of bars the USB connection is barely accessable. I have solved this issue by using a usb extension cable and by placing a little bit of velcro on the stand so it is easily attached and detached.
