Someone once provided a link to a programme which would equalise the volume of mp3 tracks prior to burning them on to a disc. I cant remember the name of the programme, but it was an useful tool. It was probably done on the old place.
Any Ideas folks.

Hi there,
I don't know much of mp3Gain but have heard of it.
I use Cool Edit Pro 2 (which almost everyone has these days). There is a utility called "Group Waveform Normalize" which will normalize as many tracks at once as you wish all to the same loudness profile. I recommend it.
Cheers

There are two ways to normalize a track whether wav or otherwise:
1. Select EFFECTS\AMPLITUDE\NORMALIZE or.....
2. Select EDIT\GROUP WAVEFORM NORMALIZE
The latter is the best one to use.
