I know this subject has been touched on in the past, but is there any reason why a blanket email can't be sent to the 250 odd members of this forum inviting them to take another look at its contents. I bet alot of them have forgotten about the forum over the years. I tend to dip in and out of it over the months due to work and time commitments, but I reckon a 'reminder email' about what goes on here, would remind a few people to take another look.
It seems that there are a hard core of about 20 to 30 people who look on here weekly. What about encouraging the other 90% to have another look.
Any other viewpoints on encouraging old members to stop by here again?
This post is just a thought provoking exercise really. And what about new members opinions on this subject?

I only ever see about five or six of the same people having an input or looking for a swap,a lot different to when I joined a couple of years ago. Geordie

I wonder if, like me, some members just have a look at the forum and don't always log on unless there's something they want to contribute to.

Yes, Roger, I look in most days to see if there's anything I can add, maybe fill a request or answer a question (I leave the technical stuff to JohnG, lol). Sometimes I might see a request & say "can I have that, too, please?". I don't post just for the sake of it, the old Midimart forum they had a minimum posting rule, but that just leads the forum being filled with crap. I think if you've got nothing useful or interesting to say, keep schtum, or to put that another way, better to have quality than quantity.
