Hey Freddy,
The tracks are good man...I really really liked "Lupine",but of course I'm a fan of certain trance stuff and vibes, and that song has that feel. Sorry to hear about your friend,he had some skills for sure. "Give It" was kinda cool to hear as well, with that sample line over and over again, and then again at the 2:19 mark it started to filter sweep and really groove. This is some bad mutha programming if he did this from scratch. I'm curious as to what instrument(s) were used for the sounds for "Lupine"..Do you remember? Software? or all hardware synths? I personally love the sounds and groove in that one.
Haven't listened to the ones with Wendy..I'll have to give those a listen later today or tomorrow.
Take Care
Mike

Yeah I have been working with Wendy about her technique with the mic. She has just gotten back into MIDi and recording her voice and such after a decade away from it. I talked her into buying Studio One (DAW) and an entry level vocal mic. She has had a tendency to get too close to the mic when singing. A common problem for singers.
That reminds me of what I used to tell Ed Bitner, our longtime bassist in a couple of my old bands. I used to tell him.... "Ed you gotta use your stage monitor to judge whether or not you are too close to the mic!". I could always tell if he was too close to the mic, just from how he would distort in the vocal monitors. I would know before i would look at him, and sure enough when I did look at him he'd be eating the mic. I was constantly telling him to not overpower the mic and give it a few inches at least.
Wendy has acknowledged this and is getting better about it. You hear a twinge of this in the tracks I linked to, but not terrible.
