Hi all, just a little update on news, local happenings etc from the Simmo’s part of the world, firstly just arrived home after doing the weekly shop at our local centre in Baldivis, its a pretty warm day today so the centre’s aircon was very welcome, we even dallied a bit & treated ourselves to a coffee, which we often do, the usual routine on all warm shopping days we come armed with cooler bags etc to put all of the perishables in even though its only a hop & a skip to home, you just can’t be too careful these days. Picked up the West Australian newspaper while we were there & not being to much into sports I noticed that the Balmy Army had arrived in Perth for the vital test which starts today, the weather may play a big part in the results as we do have a warm spell for the next few days. I just checked the forecast & today is aiming for 38C =..102F tomorrow 39C.=103.4F & the next few days more of the same, it should be an interesting game.We probably get a couple of degrees warmer where we are,depending if we get any relief from the sea breeze ( we are about 5 km from the ocean )I will have to close for the moment as I have just realised I have a gig at a nursing home which is about an hour away,had a good one yesterday at our local RSL club ( returned services league ) it was a 2 hour job but it all went well,even sold a few more of my Cd’s.Will continue all the news asap....Simmo & the good lady says Hi as well
