Hello everyone
Haven't been here for a while Just wondering if anyone has any ideas or experience of using any electronic devices for storing song lyrics for gigging rather than a folder with loads of printed pages
Something that could be attached in some way to the mic stand and big enough to read easily
I don't want to go the road of iPad, to expensive for the limited use i would make of it but kindles and e readers etc seem to be cheap enough
Have to say I have never seen any of these devices in the flesh but the idea appeals to me
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated
Vincent

Hi Vincent,
I like your idea. I've had a Kindle e-reader for a year or so now although I've never used it to put lyrics or play lists on. I think this would be possible as you can send documents to it and store them. Another advantage would be that the text can be made any size you wish so could be made big enough to read at a distance. You would,of course, have to devise some method of attaching it to your mic stand or have a separate (music?) stand for it. Basis Kindles sell at around £69 at the moment but there are lots of similarly priced, or even cheaper, tablets around which would do the job.
See Ziggy's iPad for Gigging post in PC Problems section further down the page.
Good luck,
Roger
