My old PC has crashed, and its not affordable to repair it. I used it to edit all my Midis, using Sonar7. I am now using a Lenovo Laptop, running Windows 7. There is obviously a problem with my version of Sonar, as, though it loaded , I cannot hear sounds, and there appears to be no Midi devices listed. It may be that it is not compatible with Windows 7.
Anyone suggest a way of solving this, or an alternative piece of software. I only use this for basic editing, so dont want to pay a lot.
Many thanks
Jerry

Barry
Thanks for the response. Im in good form presently, but facing the issue of which treatment option to go for.
That link was great. Ive resolved the issue with Sonar, and can now use it.
