Thank you guys. I had a fantastic day. Was my 50th so I decided to throw caution to the wind and really let my hair (sic) down. Held a party which was made up of family, friends, and lots of musos. Booked a great duo from North Essex, the evening went far too quickly. Have spent today (Sunday) in Southend with the family, walking along the seafront and eating a hearty meal in a supurb 1950s diner called Bobby Joes. Its all decked out with retro 1950s gear.

Hi Ian been in Bobby Joes last year I have relations in Southend they took us there he has lots of photo's on the wall of 1950s singers and actors he said to me if I could name every one I could have my order free I named every one except one Eden Kane I could have kicked myself when he told me I new him but his name just escaped me

Let me know if you are down in Southend again and I will try to get there with my family and we can meet up in Bobby Joes for a bite to eat.
What part of Southend are your relations from? I am singing in Southend at a club on the seafront in a few weeks time on November the 2nd, they can come and throw some abuse at me. Its a really nice club.

The club is about 1 mile from Westcliff. Its the Naval and Military club, they may know of it. If they did want to venture down let me know and I will make sure they are signed in ok.
