drum beat styles

hi have been helping my friend to start using backing tracks but he still wants to use his drum machine and guitar for some of his songs
I suggested he uses drum styles instead of his drum machine where would he get a disc with different styles on
he's bought a tablet for his lyrics and im helping him to understand midi but that's gonna take a while any advice welcome maverick(jim)

Depends if it can take midi data and have a loading port,[UBS,Disc Drive,CD etc]you can then get the patterns from a GM keyboards or from Yamaha,Roland etc web site or forums.
