roystracks.com/Quick_Steps_c16/Has anyone used this company for tracks, they have a few new ones you don't see around, not sure if they are real instruments or midi, they seem to customize for £10 extra, don't think that could be with real instruments could it! Worth a look they sound pretty good, as usual NO Women's songs! Jacqui

Kemo posted Roystracks a while back...I played at at fundraising function last year and Roy was also on the lineup...he's a really nice guy...very talented....and the tracks ARE real instruments...give him a ring and give off to him that he has no female tracks....he'll enjoy the ol banter.

That's interesting Kev, so would you say when they customize the tracks the guitar etc is still real instruments, guitar fiddle?
Are they based in Ireland, what does Roy go out as, is it a band, where is he from?

Hi Jacqui...I spoke with Roy this morning and he told me that because all the live instruments are recorded in his studio on seperate channels, he can transpose each channel seperately on expensive audio equipment and it will still give high quality sound....he guarantees this....and as for female artists, he said that he doesn't get enough requests for them to justify paying musicians to play on them.

Hello Jacqui,
I have almost all of Roys tracks in my lineup and can assure you that they are all studio recorded with live musicians. The guitarist (Patsy McDermott) and Keyboards (Harry Leonard) have both featured with artists like Mick Flavin, Gerry Guthrie, Declan Nerney. If you listen to the steel guitar this can only be reproduced by a live musician. Roy will soon be catering for Female artists as advertised on his site
