Hello all,
My name is Mike(aka Sequenzzer),and I just joined this board...Im a solo keyboard player/lead singer.I've been looking quite a while for a place like this,being that I am purely a MIDI enthusiast since the early 90's,doing much in the way of programming MIDI files,and doing solo gigs pretty much since the late 90's,done the band thing. I use MIDI exclusively for everything...With my keyboards,sound modules and harmonizer,I'm ready basically for anything!
Anyhow,
Just wanted to introduce myself,and say thank you for what looks to be a great place to talk about MIDI and share MIDI files...Looking forward in my spare time(when I'm not playing gigs or programming MIDIS) to browse this board and help anyone that I can! Take care!

What Tommy means is if you want Members to send you midis they'll obviously need you email address but of course you don't have to publicly display your email if you don't want to up to you . Also if you like feel free to post any of your own work to Members Mid Files if you so desire. Barry  |

Welcome What harmoniser do you use and in what mode. Hey Frankie! I USED to be a digitech fan...BUT NO MORE...I now use an Eventide...LOL Only kidding(saw your cyberjaw drop on that one..) Nah,I am completely sold on T.C.Helicon Voiceworks...Heard it,and fell in love with it immediately,my digitech went on ebay that week. I don't use any of the presets,I use the "notes" mode where I can play my notes/chords on the keyboard,and decide for myself which notes will be my harmonies. |

I'm going to check their site,and see if they have done a newer update...Don't really have any issues or bugs with this terrific unit anyway,but I'll check it out...It is indeed one of the best purchases I have ever made. I'm glad to see you are not using the digitech,I really didn't notice how "robotic" sounding the digitech stuff was until I heard the helicon...World's apart,and the editing is so much more involved on the voiceworks(which I like!) |
