I was there as well Kevin.
My sons 30th birthday so i took him down as a treat. What an incredible atmosphere inside Old Trafford and a great result .That was my first visit and i thoroughly enjoyed it.
If i could just stand on my soapbox for a minute:
I filled up the car before i left Aberdeen cost-133 per ltr.
Stopped at motorway station beside Preston to fill up again -146 per ltr. Two bacon Sandwiches and 1 cup of tea--£12.
I appreciate that you have to pay over the odds at these places, but that is really rip off Britain prices.
Round about Old Trafford, the hamburger stands were charging the earth.
Very enjoyable trip, but very expensive.

At least i went down to Old Trafford and spent some money. I dont think you,ve ever been in Manchester, never mind Old Trafford.

hey that's below the belt ,I've been down to Manchester regularally in recent times, and twice to Old Trafford Barry gave me a birthday pressie of accomodation and tickets for the Fulham game and Carol came down with me for the Newcastle game last season.Carol, as you know, hates football but she was blown away by the atmosphere and the occasion and is now a big Man utd fan.

speeding penalty points would nearly do lolol.......just home from Manchester....great atmosphere...I was ladened down with 20 YEARS United scarfs for our mates...I've been about a dozen times...mostly midweek matches as out playing at the weekends...two of my mates have season tickets but they don't use them midweek so it suits us fine.
