Jacqui Ver 11.2 is the latest as far as I know you need to download that see link below....yes I would download the latest one for sure that should sort things out. support.apple.com/kb/DL1614Also just remembered forgot to say it to you if you go into iTunes /Edit/Preferences/Sharing make sure your playlist boxes are ticked otherwise they wont sync. Try that and see how you go Barry

Thanks Barry Just gone into that and those settings were not ticked, selected them but the music still only shows on the ipod, and it wants to delete if I sync, it won't update my itunes either on auto update, so I'm going to delete it and reinstall version 11 can't be any worse! will let you know Jacqui

Well I've uninstalled itunes 10 and reinstalled itunes 11, it has found a library from somewhere and put it into itunes, I can't see how it found it did as it was not in the itunes folder,....although it's not the same as my ipod it's nearly there, some different folders and songs, I guess what I will have to do is get everything in itunes updated as I want it then sync it and let it update my ipod, but I think I'm on the right track now, :)seems to be a lot more features with itunes 11 maybe Barry with update me as to what you do with Cloud and other such stuff. I like the other programme CopyTrans too, I see that has some programmes in it for back up's although not sure if they are pay ones, could do with finding out how I back up itunes library now in case this happens again. Thanks Barry and Gerry for the help with this, certainly got me out of a fix. Jacqui
