Hi Frankie you could try the Roland Discover 5M, if you can find one. Roland discontinued them couple of years back.

Frankie I've one collecting dust in my den, and although I gigged with it once or twice,I never used the harmoniser. So I'm only going on hearsay on how it performs. I've heard guys say they were very impressed, but maybe you can come up with something on Youtube to help in your considerations.

Hi Frankie, I've been using a Digitec Vocalist harmoniser for eighteen years and I think it's brilliant and I have never had a bad comment about it.You can set it for note or chord data, just midi it into your keyboard. Geordie

Geordie I have a TC Helicon Voice Works.Brilliant tool I use in note mode.Looking for a keyboards with as good a harmoniser.I then dont need a sound module or harmoniser and can travel light ,plus having the tool to write my own midi files.

Frankie,
I use a Korg PA800 keyboard. It has a harmony setting but I don't use it much as it doesn't sound great to my ear. Otherwise a great keyboard. There may be some online demos of PA800 and the harmoniser to which you could listen....try google for this.

I have been using the Roland discover 5M in a live situation now for nearly 10 years and have no issues with it at all. I now put it through a Ketron SD2 module as the Roland sounds were a bit past their sell by date though. I have never used the harmoniser live, but tried it out in my room at home and it all seemed to be ok. Its just not for me in a live situation. There were a few Discover 5M videos on youtube a while ago. If I can be any other help Frank, let me know.

Ian Found few on utube.I think I will go to a music store and get the guy to demo .Maybe a Yamaha or Korg.At least the salesman can swat up on the use of note mode and midi files into the keyboards.I intend to get a proper demo before the credit card is flashed.
