Just heard that Dave Brubeck has passed to the big jazz gig in the sky. He was one day short of his 92nd birthday. He was an enormous influence on my own jazz playing aspirations as a young pianist. RIP Dave, another giant gone.

R.I.P. one of the world's great jazz musicians.
I shall dig out my LP of his concert at Carnegie Hall, surely one of the most wonderful Jazz recordings ever made.
