Charity Idea

Hi Guys,
I have an idea running thru my head and i was wondering if i could get some input on it ? I have recently become involved with an organization called `Kinship Care`it`s a charity that helps relations within families to look after children i.e nieces,nephews, grandchildren and so on to prevent these little`uns going into foster care or even adoption i have a personal connection to this but i`d rather not say at this time. The charity has no funding and they run basically on a shoestring,they have a charity walk this coming April and i was hoping to do something for them. Ok now for my idea i was wondering if any of you guys would be willing to send me a recording that i could add to a cd that i am going to put together,i would get all the cd`s printed and hand them over to the charity so they could raise a few pounds. Any help or ideas would be great

Hi Weegeo,what a great idea,I am sure that you would get plenty of offers from the forum members,I myself have been playing around with a couple of songs, trouble is being a bit of an oldie the recordings reflect that so they may not be suitable for the project.I have them mp3 format but I'm not sure how would be the best way to get them to you so you can have a listen to them.They are around 3-4 mb each,let me know if you are interested & we can work something out.

It's something I'd be interested in helping with, I often go to charity nights and sing, I was at one last night for Cancer Research, but getting the recordings good enough to put on a CD
I think it needs to be done professionally, so I guess anyone who has already done that in a studio would be OK, I did a recording as a duet with Ian Jorden(Oliver01 on the forum) for his CD I'm sure if I asked him he would be happy to let us add it to your song collection, if you thought it was suitable for the project.

Jacqui & Terry that would be excellent i have a lot of friends over here that are also going to get behind this cd i will take all the tracks to my friends studio and if needed tidy them up a little i will let everyone hear the final mix before they go to press.

Like yourself Jacqui i am/was very involved with charities of course any cancer charity is close to my heart i do/did a lot for a local charity `kids in need`which deals solely with local schools or charities for kids that have special needs i think we should all give something back. Thanx for your support with this one
