Let's see now. If I were the one saying that little poem, I'd have to rewrite it a tad, and utter it with a redneck accent.....
Brothers 'n sisters ain't got, but I oughtter, 'cuz that gal's father is my father's daughter! ;D

He's looking at a pic of himself (I think). Dad? Grandad? Uncle? Antie? Brother-in-law? The bloke next door but one? The next town? I give up.

Hi Folks! First of all thanks to all that took the time to try and answer this old puzzle. Here is the explanation and answer. The answer or main clue is in the first line of the puzzle. Brothers and Sisters have I none But that man’s father is my father’s son. Ask yourself this question If you had no brothers or sisters who would your fathers son be? (Answer: Yourself or Me) So what you’re in fact saying is That Mans father is Me So the man in the photo has to be your son.
Well done Kev and Well done Michael………………..Gerry.

Hi Mike!! You weren't the only one. Remember I said athe start of the thread that I saw literaly hundreds of pounds bet on the answer to this riddle, well £40.00 of that was mine. I thought like you that he was looking at himself. I played for nothing that night............Gerry
