Today we lost our family best friend....he was killed in an accident at his place of work this morning...he leaves behind his wife, 2 sons and a daughter....we attended his daughters wedding a few months ago and I had the honour at playing at her reception....I've just come from the home and it is a sad place to be tonight....I'm on my way to the airport to lift his daughter and her husband now....RIP our true friend Peter

Kevin...heard it on the news. Did not know you knew him. So sad.... I am only too familiar with how you feel. Lost my best friend many years ago, and then lost my nephew in a drowning accident. Only hope is prayer for all.

Thanks guys...we have to go and take him home later after the PM....it brings it home to you that you should always say goodbye when you part 'cause you may never get another chance to say it again.

This is so very sad, you and Catriona must be devastated, it certainly puts life into prospective just how very fragile it all is, we take so much for granted and it can be all gone in a whisper.
Myself and Mum are thinking of you and your dear friends family at this sad time, they will need your strength to get them through this.

Thanks guys...we buried Peter on Sunday and I sang at his funeral....it was one of the hardest thing I ever had to do.....choked...I sang Morning Is Broken, Make Me A Channel Of Your Peace and Remember Me ( Christie Hennessy song ) RIP....Rejoice In Paradise
