Hi lads and lassies just wondering if any of you like to dabble in the kitchen as i do like to do a bit of cooking just bought a new halogen oven today heard they are quite good has any of you guys got one and how do you rate them

Absoutely love mine, Tommy. So useful & saves energy, not having to heat up a large oven space to cook for one

Hi Tommy,
We had one about two years ago but got rid of it again after a couple of weeks.it was ok for cooking a chicken but very fiddly to try and cook other things with it.We had to muck about with tinfoil on top of the meat to get the spuds to brown or else the meat would burn at the top but not be anywhere near cooked through to the middle.You're supposed to be able to cook three or four things at once but we found it wasn't very good.

Fan forced oven recently installed.Cook's much quicker than a normal one.Cost $269 ......174 pounds

Happy cooking, Tommy . I'll wait for your expetr comments after the week is over and ............ after a few chickens have been roasted. Checked it on the Net and it sure looks interesting. Please let me know the make of the Halogen Oven you bought.

The make i got is called Judge they do a lot of kitchen utensils like pots and pans knives e.t.c got very good name over here Cooperative stores sell this brand dont know if you have Co-op stores in India got mine half price paid just £40
