Hi Guys, Please be on the lookout and be aware that the `microsoft scammers` are at it again. I had 2 calls yesterday from an asian caller telling me he was from the IT dept of Microsoft and they needed to give me my new registration details as they needed to do `routine maintanance`to my microsoft works!! This is a scam where if you let them into your PC you`ll be `screwed`and all your files and personal contact details will be stolen. The easiest way to get rid of them is to say `No problem please wait whilst i record this conversation`and they just hang up.
Microsoft will never contact you directly in this manner they are very plausible so guys watch out for this one.

Folks
The incident that happened to me, is widespread. Ive spoken to at least 5 people locally, who have had a similiar experience. Apparently, your Antivirus Software cannot prevent it.....so be aware....it does not damage your files, but its a nuisance to remove.

I tell them to hang on while I transfer you to the computer department. Then they hang up.
