Guest Member ???

Could the administrators enlighten me on this .
I find some posting in to the Forum as "Guest Member "
I find this strange. A guest is a guest, visiting the forum and he's not a member as he's not registered in, so he should be called very simply , a guest.
Am I correct ?

I think they are classed as Guest Members until they have made a certain number (50?) of posts, Shyam
