I reckon Aberdeen and the north east of Scotland is doing rather well also ,at last count three gold [ STANNING, BAILLIE and GRAINGER ],one silver [ FLORENCE ]

I've just visited my grandson and he is glued to all the action and can tell me most things and names of the various sports and competitors. He is only six and I can't help thinking that he is so inspired by the British team's perfomances and this is what the Olympic message is really all about. Inspiring a new generation,creating new heroes.
