SWINE FLU

Hi Everyone
I still havent had any first hand information from any Swine Flu patients and I wonder if any of you have.
I cant help but feel that this whole global alert is too hyped up by the media. I heard from a friend of mine in Australia who said he had the Swine flu , that it was just like any other flu, so other than going to a lab for testing , how can we differentiate ?
They did put ou a sort of check list to show us how to recognise symptoms, but most of them are very alike to common allergies and cold and fever which we get during changes in weather.
Your experiences and opinions should be interesting.

Think your right Shyam, it would seem that it is `hyped` up although it is serious in lesser countries we just seem to treat it at home as any other illness but thank goodness i haven`t had it so i may be talking wrong i think we have had about 5/6 cases reported over here in N.Ireland compared to the hundreds we had when `Asian Flu` was doing the rounds

I believe they have made a breakthrough regards treatment for this swine flu, its some kind of OINKment!!!!! lol.

The WHO has declared it a pandemic of the 6th grade - it must be serious. What I;m curious about is the symptoms. A bad throat or a sore throat is pretty common hereabouts, with the change in weather. Fever and cold are pretty common too, so what are the extraordinary symptoms of Swine Flu ?
I'm happy to hear there is a "cure" now
It has also been clarified that its nothing to do with eating pork !!

Well Shyam, they say the guy who first contracted it in Mexico is now back to full health and feeling perky which is probably how he caught it in the first place [lol]
