Steak and Ale !!!!!!! I truly enjoyed the one I ate at The Peach Room at Shrewsbury !! YUMMY ...YUMMY YUMMY !!!
Does anyone have a good recipe that will get me one like the one in this picture ? Please !!

Glad you enjoyed the food while you were here, if you had stayed in London for a while you might have tried the Cockney favourite Jellied Eels or Pie & Mash with liquor ;D

Oh, by the way, we have bottled Beer here and also draught beer .......... can I use this instead of ale ? Can you believe it .... I didnt have any Guiness when I was there ? I had a beer called Spitfire at the King Henry the VIIIth Pub at Chiddingstone ! Someone , please tell me if its ok to use our beer.

Tommy I copied the very same recipe from the Net . It looked real good so I was going to try it one of these days !!!! Great minds think alike, huh ?

Yeah that picture looks like a very up market pie and chips Shyam, did the chips actually come in that little basket, or did you have to fry them yourself at the table lol ;D
I don't think your missed much on the Guinness, I'd say you'd have to be in Ireland for the best pint of the black stuff
