I dont know how many of you watched this spectacular show, and wonder what you thought of it. I thought there were generally some tremendous live performances, but also there were a few disasters. Sir Cliff Richard was completely out of tune for his whole set, and as for the self opinionated Will I Am, I think he should change his name to Will Im Not, he was truly dreadful. Paul McCartney was mediocre and looked a bit vacant throughout. Generally though a fantastic show. I attended the one ten years ago in the grounds of the Palace, so may be a bit biased, but I thought that was a better show.

I thought Tom Jones and Elton John were very good...overall a good show but some of the acts were terrible.

I thought it was mostly terrible,Cliff was way off tune,I thought Paul McCartney had a sore throat and the presenters were cringe making.I thought Tom Jones and Shirley Bassy were the best along with Alfie Boe.It got very boring for most of it.

I echo most of your thoughts guys,Cliff was embarrassing,Sir Paul was vacant and throaty, and the presenters were woeful with their insults. I like to judge the audience reaction when someone is on stage and they looked thoroughly bored until Sir Tom took centre stage [its been a good week for him].His stage craft and prescence lit up the crowd and Sir Elton although not vocally brilliant again showed his professionalism and continued the feel good factor,Gary Barlow is to be commended for his beautiful song and for bringing together the Commonwealth choir but , if you want my honest opinion I think the real stars were the technicians who put it all together

Really couldnt agree with you more. I have the entire show recorded and I think its time to erase it all. The Queen deserved better ! We should've just had Tom Jones, Elton John, Shirley Bassey, Eric Clapton and Mark Knopfler !!

Got to agree with you Shyam. Tom Jones and Shirley were excellent and Mark and Eric couldn't be faulted.
