Thanks Frank &Simmo thats me 66years old today i can't believe it's 50 years since my first gig there i was with 3 other boys at the local fire station playing at a dance Cliff Richard. Del Shannon, Everly Bros and Elvis was getting big licks that night My grannie bought me a new guitar it was not electric so i bought a pick up for 21 shillings and a amp for a £5 i was top of the world

Thanks John yes 1946 was a great year there was a baby boom that year due to all the service men coming home from the war in 1945
