I'm having a problem converting .kar to .mid.
Just changing the extension from kar to mid is not working,is there somethin else i can try.

I have the same problem,I have loads of Karaoke files that should play as midi but wont.

Hi Barry, since my first post, i changed the default player to cakewalk and that seems to have solved the problem. I didn't realize i had a proramme called "freemidikaraokeplayer" and one batch of files defaulted to this programme.Don't know why.
I uninstalled this and all seems to be ok.
